| Oregon Scientific Temperature and Humidity Sensor with Clock Keep your Oregon Scientific Weather Stations working properly with the Oregon Scientific Temperature and Humidity Sensor with Clock. This unit features the time and temperature on one screen. It can act as a stand alone outdoor thermometer, or be used as a replacement or additional sensor for your Oregon Scientific Weather Station. The top line displays the time according to the atomic clock in Boulder, Colorado. An internal antenna receives a signal from WWVB, the radio station in Fort Collins, Colorado, which transmits the time according to the atomic clock. This signal can be received from up to 932 miles away. If it has been received, a tower icon appears next to the time to note the signal strength. Choose your time zone in the battery compartment to ensure accurate time. The bottom line notes the outdoor temperature and relative humidity. The temperature is shown in your choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius. The display switches between the temperature and relative humidity, shown as a percentage. If using this sensor as an additional sensor, the channel number assigned to it appears to the left of the temperature. Place the item outdoors, up to 328 feet from the main station. Mount the sensor on a wall with a nail, ensuring that it is protected from rain, snow, and direct sunlight. For more versatility, fold out the integrated stand and place the sensor on a flat surface. The unit uses two included AA batteries for power, and the red LED light indicates if it is working.
