| I bought this to replace my northbridge fan on my MSI K8N Neo4 motherboard because the stock one started to screech. This one was a little bit bigger, but I still managed to fit it in with my huge 8600 GT Fatal1ty video card just barely touching the fan. All I needed was a replacement fan, but now I'm noticing the temperature drops and it is unhearable. Excellent product and well worth the price. |

| The fan supposed to be 26dba at 100% but, when I tested it the fan noise was hovering around 30-35dba. The noise is caused by it's inherit small size which makes the blades start to screech.
Also there is no P3 wire (yellow wire) connector for fan control. I kept the heat sinks and threw out the fan.
If your looking for a Chipset fan spend the extra cash and get the Thermaltake Extreme Spirit II Northbridge Chipset Cooler, that thing is worth the 24 bucks. |
