| This is a great buy. Before I was averaging 52-60C but now its about 40c. Works very well, the only thing I wish it had was more Usb ports, particulary on the other side. Great buy! |

| i have an HP PAVILION ZE4500 that i pulled out of retirement that had overheating problems.. bought the notepal and it took care of it. the quality is what sets this one apart.. fans are quiet, aluminum construction..extra usb port cooler.. best one i've seen |

| I have an HP Pavilion zd8000 that I got as a ''desktop alternative'' - I use it 95% at home, and usually at the desk. It would overheat and shut down periodically with just standard use, nothing intense, and in minutes if one of my cats climbed up and sat behind it. I decided to try a notebook cooler, and based on other reviews decided to avoid the plastic ones. This has worked perfectly, my lap top has not shut down from heat since I installed regardless how long I putter around. It is unobtrusive. The angle is nice. My lap top is pretty large, not exactly designed for portability, with a 17'' screen almost 16'' wide and 11'' deep. The cooler fits perfectly width-wise, but the last 1.5'' of the computers depth hangs over the edge in back. So the front of the computer pops up maybe 1/4'' if I'm not typing. It is still stable, doesn't fall, and works great so I don't consider it a problem - but the fit isn't perfect. I wouldn't say it acts as a docking station, but it does it |

| I just bought this 4 days ago for my Alienware Aurora 9700 which ran really hot and would occasionally crash during hardcore gaming, not to mention almost melt threw my table.
::Performance::
Since I bought this cooler my laptop has drastically decreased in temperature and is now bareable to the touch. The Laptop fans also run about 50% of the time now, instead of non-stop.

It's a little expensive considering it's just 2 fans and aluminum.

I like how it slants my laptop and acts as a docking station

This is the big thing, it feels solid and is very clean looking. It is actually an accessory for my laptop that I'm not embarrassed to carry around and doesn't cramp my Alienware's look. Definitely a plus.

| Great quality and craftsmanship! I love the aluminum chassis. It is very sturdy and doesn't bow and bend like the plastic versions. The two fans are virtually silent. The angle of the cooler is perfect and it makes typing so much easier and ergonomic. I love how it uses USB connectivity so you don't have to have any power cord attached to it making it extremely mobile. As far it functionality my laptop is a AMD 64x dual core possessor with 2gb DDR2 memory, 160 gb HDD. Before I bought this the bottom of my laptop was always extremely hot to the touch. On several occasions while working the unit hard it shut down due to overheating. It also would clock down and make my programs stall or take very long just to start up. Now the bottom of my PC is cool to the touch. My programs open up at least 50% faster and I know I have added much more life to my laptop by not allowing the heat to kill it at an early age like my last 2 laptops. I highly recommend buying this cooler. |
