I bought these in blue (Tiger - where are the other colors???) when I ugraded my memory last year. They take a little bit of coordination to use, but they were easy to put in, and seem to be doing the job just fine. Very happy with them!

glad i bought these. they can be a little tricky to put on. be sure that they are centered on the Ram. Or you have to grind the heat spreader down on the ends so that the memory will fit on the slots (which is what i had to do the first time i put 1 on wrong).

I put these on my memory first thing, so I can't tell you that I noticed any temp change. My system is running very cool, however, and I am sure it is due in part to these (30 idle; 35 load). They can probably be a little tricky to put on, but here's what I did:
1) Seat memory in mobo.
2) Pull the wax paper off the tape, then hook the hinges back in place.
3) Grab the ends with middle finger and thumb, making sure to keep the panels apart at about a 30-45 degree angle.
4) Rest hinge on top of the memory (while keeping panels apart), and visually confirm that it is properly positioned.
5) Pinch down, attaching the tape to the memory.
