I installed this fan on an Athlon 2200 1.8ghz CPU. Fired it up it ran 2 seconds and powered down. Thought the fan might be not running at enough RPM or something. Installed on my second machine (Same setup) and got same results. Turned out the clip was putting to much pressure and both Non replaceable CPU's were fried. Got a sorry tuff luck from both Tiger and The fan maker. Not even an offer to help in some way what so ever other then Hey we will send you a new fan free of charge. Not happy about it....

Its got an annoying hum for 3 hours when first used. After that annoying hum goes away. Its completely silent. This was to replace a heatsink inside my Dell Dimension L733r. (Currently using this computer until I get my other one fixed, got ATI 9280 128Mb Pci card inside for playing half life 2 at 800 x 600)

I installed this fan into a 5-year old Dell L600cx with a socket 370. It works great and is decently quiet.
