I don't know how the previous reviewers are raving about this fan. I'm on my 2nd one in one day and both are loud. At first I figured I got a defective one so I exchanged it for another one of these but I'm wrong, it's still loud like a hair dryer. I'm an Antec and Thermaltake guy so this is the first time using MassCool. I'm about to leave for the 3rd time today to CompUSA and returning this brand. Now I know why it's $5 instead of $10-12 like the better brands. If you truly want quality, silent, and reliable fans stick with Antec and Thermaltake trust me that extra $5 you spend over the MassCool is well worth it for years.

I ordered this fan hoping for improved cooling. It exceeded my expectations and has not only taken care of the overheating issues I was having, but keeps everything at a low temperature. Awesome!

For the money this is a great quiet fan. I purchased 2 for 2 identical machines whose fans were failing. The only 'con' I had is the plug did not fit the motherboard plug on my older motherboards the origjinal fan was in, which caused a 'Fan Failure' alert from the BIOS and a trip to the BIOS to save on the first boot. So I used the auxiliary plug on the fan to the power supply. Very easy. Nice replacement unit.

This product isn't top notch but i guess it does the job. I am using it as an exhaust fan, it works alright.
