I had no problem with drivers or recognizing the board. Everything went Great! I bought this to retrieve data from a sata drive from another computer and it worked without a hitch!

I have purchased this card and Seagate FreeAgent Pro 320GB 3.5'' External Hard Drive - 7200, eSata, USB 2.0. Locally I have purchased the eSATA cable to connect the DH to this card but the card dose not has an external SATA (eSATA) connection. BEAWARE!

I got 2 cards to work with 2 Seagate 250GB internal hard drive. I put one in a P1-233 but the MotherBoard Bios and the card would not reconize each other (Have not given up yet). Endded up putting both in a P3-500 with wXPsp2 that had a PCI SATA card in it. All three worked fine together. Great addition for anyone looking to upgrade their storage needs. Recommended!!! Warning Little documentation No support. You are on your own.

I bought this card along with a Seagate 500GB internal hard drive. I put it in a Dell Dimension 2400 running Vista and it recognized it immediately. This card is dirt cheap too. Comes with one SATA cable. I love the internal/external hookups on this card. Great addition for anyone looking to upgrade their storage needs. Recommended!!!

Did not work for me. I installed and my W2K system required reload of the OS to stop the crashing. Two days wasted. Little documentation and if you go to the vantecusa.com site, they do not even show information on this card. Emails to vantecusa support are unanswered. You are on your own.
