This is the way to go if you need a consistent, trouble free connection for radio scanners and other 'com' port hardware. Plugged into a PCI slot, it gives you [4] faultless and dependable connections. Does NOT slow down machine startup. No USB hassles! I'm VERY satisfied with this item.
