| It seems pretty sturdy. I've used cheap readers where the front cover pulls off when you pull your memory card out. This one does not do that. You only get to use one memory card slot at time. Didn't realize this when purchased. Other than that, seems so to work pretty fast on copying from memory cards or usb flash drives. Only uses 1 motherboard usb header for both usb port and memory card slots. |

| Does what it's supposed to. The only issue I had is that the cable was too short to reach the USB header from the 3.5'' bay on a full tower. |

| I just received one of these-it did not come with a driver disk, and windows98 does not have one with that works. It seems like it should work, it recognizes I have it, but it doesn't know what to do with it.
(And no comments about upgrading to XP. 2000 and newer are NOT usable to me!)

| This is a good idea except it needs more usb ports. There is only one port and if you're used to using your ports on the front of your case you'll have to adjust. It takes an entire usb header on the motherboard for the install. Other than that it works fine. Of course, you have to turn your SD card upside-down for it to fit but it DOES work. If you have a whopper of a mobo or you don't need more than 1 front usb port than this is the reader for you. |
