Awesome Reader, Have been using it for months without a problem. For the price I don't think you can beat it. No Drivers needed for vista just like any other flash drives never come with drivers so I don't know why some poeple are upset, and expected it too

There is nothing wrong with this product, if you are using an up to date system, running XP or Vista. I am very pleased with it. I use it for getting photos from my camera cards, as well as using it as a Pen Drive by leaving a 2 Gig SD in it.
It doesn't come with drivers because it doesn't NEED any drivers if you are using an up to date system. It's a standard mass storage device under Windows - so if your system recognises other mass storage devices (like your camera when you plug it in) chances are you're fine.

I have used this for a week or more and have had no problems with it. Just use the safely remove USB device feature in Windows and it works fine. It does get hot. I can see the red led light on it just fine, maybe its something they have fixed on it recently. WinXP does not require any drivers, or any installation what so ever. I guess if there are still any WIN98 users out there this isn't for you according to the review above.

This item is HOT! And I mean that, because it gets HOTTER than any other USB Flash drive I've used when plugged into a USB port. Mine is using a Sandisk 1G card. Works? yes, but not in win98se unless you download the generic files called nusb31e.exe available from various sites. I tried the umss.exe files from microsoft, but they wouldn't work on it. Probably works right from the start in XP since they include the usbstor files. When you plug into win98se system you will get a message about Mass Storage Device, but won't find anything to run it from your win98se disc, nor those umss.exe files downloaded and extracted from microsoft. The LED works fine, is quite bright, may even be the circuit where the heat comes from, but that seems more in the area of where the SD or MMC card contacts are. Usable? yes, but if all you want is a USB hard drive, get a Cruzer or PNY. If you want something for occassional quick reads from a camera, then it's OK, but watch the heat, don't leave it plugged

I purchased three of these, NONE OF THEM HAVE THE DRIVER DISK AND THE MANUFACTURER DOES NOT HAVE THE DRIVER AVAILBLE, THATS WHY THEY ARE SO CHEAP. YOU CANNOY USE THESE WITH W98 BECAUSE OF THAT!!!!
