| Thought Id give this memory a try, and I wasnt dissapointed. I had 2gigs in before this and have had a few skips and lag from time to time on battlefield 2. I stuck two of these in and set up 1600 on the res with everything on high.
for the last two weeks this memory seems to have stopped all skips and lag spikes.
This is a great deal and a great product in my opinion. It has also sped up my photo, and movie editing software quite a bit. |

| I am using this on Windows XP Professional 32-bit and it works just fine. I haven't tried it on vista yet since I know it's probably going to suck up an entire 1GB of RAM just to operate, and with my upcoming new video card, that will take up yet another 1GB for the GPU (I hope that's really not the case). For now, my operating system sees only 3.25 GB of RAM (I bought 2 of them), but that should be expected on any 32-bit operating system. The memory worked great right out of the box with no problems on my budget PC: eMachines T5224, and of course, I won't even attempt to overclock these things on such a system. |
