Hiro H50083 Conexant Low Profile modem provides an easy way to link yourself
to the world. It incorporated the V.92 standard, so your PC can establish a
connection faster, and the connection can be up to 56K speed. Modem-on-hold
feature allows you to answer a phone call during an internet connection, then
resume after the call is finished without killing the connection. The bundled
Fax Talk Communicator application allows you to use your PC as an answer / voicemail
box as well as a fax machine. Approved via Microsoft WHQL standard, it demonstrates
stability & reliability. With so many features packed into such a little box,
you can never go wrong with Hiro modem.

| I've been looking for long for a Low Profile modem and finally this one fits. The speed are fast and it works on my XP tower right out of the box. I have to say that after a long seach, Hiro's modem worth the most, highly recommended. |

| I replaced a Gateway 56K fax modem with this one the Gateway hooked up at 51K every time this one only 44k . I was disappointed to say the least. I have since tried 2 US robotics modems from Wally world, one was DOA the other lasted 1 month. I did get my money back though. I'm going to try another USRobotics from Tiger and hope for the best. |
