| My old modem started locking up when I upgraded to 16mb. I bought this one to replace it and it has been working perfectly. I just plugged it in and it worked. How refreshing! |

| I have the nearly identical SB5120 (sligtly different chipset) which works great...only problem is the button on top can get jammed if treated badly...I have it mounted upside down now so that the button hangs free, otherwise it can get into a state where the lights attempt to connect but they really cain't... |

| My old modem was a D-link modem I bought from best buy, first cable modem I ever owned. It got quite hot during normal usage, and after a few weeks of heavy upload and download, it actually gave me Denial of Service. I thought my cable company had actually put a cap on my account. I ended up buying this modem after it got a lot worse, I was having to power cycle my modem every few days. This modem is TOTALLY AMAZING! Never an issue. Stays cool (don't make me get out the liquid cooling), functions above and beyond extreme, and initializes faster than my old one. As the other reviews say, buy this without fear or hesitation. |

| This modem comes standard with cable internet in my area, but I've tried several others and this is by far the best. Blazing fast downloads AND uploads. Recommended. |
