TV Wonder™ 550 enables a PC to gain access to a number of media sources
including TV, FM radio, and analog audio/video. The Personal Video Recorder
enables you to pause live TV or schedule recordings for later viewing. Attach
the FM antenna and listen to your favorite stations as you work. The audio/video
input block adds the ability to watch and capture video from your VCR and
camcorder.

Catalyst Media Center™ further adds the ability to watch the latest DVD
movie or author your own DVD from a library of TV programs and captured home
videos1, 2. With Avivo™ Video Converter, capture or convert your favorite
recorded TV programs to one of a number of formats including MPEG-2, MPEG-4,
WMV9, DivX and H.264, enabling you to transfer this video to your portable
media device.

| Initially I couldn't get it to work. The autorun setup process didn't install the CMC software. I sent an email to ATI support. Quick next day response. They told me to install the software manually, going through Windows Explorer. The card works great now (well, it transferred the video from an old camcorder to my cpu). I haven't burned a DVD using the software yet. Also, the pins on the A/V block bend easily. Be careful with it. |

| Tried to use this card with basic Comcast cable (not digital) and wouldn't work. I tested the cable line on a basic TV, and tried a second card, so it looks like Comcast has something on it's lines that keep this card from working. It may be fine for AV capture or over the air, but it failed me. |

| I got this and after installing the software and rebooting, nothing happened, so i kept trying until i decided to return it. The tech at tigerdirect told me they would try so they did for one week they were so close but did not get there. I would think the hardware is good but should probably be used with MCE for the best performance that RCA adapter would have come in handy to convert my tapes into DVD's! I think ill buy the k-world USB tv tuner Item # O38-2000 for the same price. |

| The Drivers for Windows Vista 64 work well. But, if you want the ATI Media Center to Work, Download these files from ATI's web site:

The Media Center works, radio, TV if you still have analog or a digital tuner box, and is great for recording my home videos from my JVC video camera.
