| It was working fine for me for about a week. Then it started to record in black and white, then pinnacle studio wouldn't even recognize that it was connected.
Pinnacle studio itself works well and some of the features are helpful, such as the automatic scene detection, and exporting to either mpeg or avi and being able to choose the quality.
I am going to give this card another try after I get my return shipped in |

| As expected Tiger Direct delivered my purchase guickly and in great condition.
I decided to go with a PCI based card as I was concerned with latency problems with a USB based capture.
The product was packaged nicely with clear and concise documentation. The software installed smoothly and after installing the PCI card I was up and running. I have a Duo Core 2 Pentium with 2 gigs of RAM so the editing software runs smoothly. The software is easy to learn and comes with tons of sample sound effects, video effects and templates to create any type of video project. The PCI card is versatile and will capture composite, S-video and digital video as well as export in those formats.
Great product but requires tons of computing horsepower to generate some of the cool Hollywood type effects. Only downfall is that there are some cool features that can only be accessed if you buy certain patch upgrades.
I will continue buying Pinacle products in the future. |

| I really like being able to edit my vhs. I have a gig of memory in my pc. It takes a very long time to convert. I had a geforce 256mb video card, it didn't work well with this program. I had to use my old video card instead. |
