| Had this card and i/o 5.25'' bay drive for almost 2 years, no issues at all. I had no probs switching it to Vista. I do want y'all to know that it does sound great on a Yamaha 6.1 system. The toslink saved me, my pc speakers died and I used my living room as a computer room until I got new pc speakers [4 months] Fatal1ty saved me, it can do the same for anyone! I stand behind SB all the way. Get it with the i/o its a must! |

| What can I say? Run, don't walk, to your nearest CompUSA for this sound card. It is really on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Excellent software, fantastic sound. Had the X-Plosion just before this but couldn't stand thinking there might be a better sound card around. There is. This is it. BTW fairly good support too. Am hearing things in older music like ''Tommy'' by The Who that I never heard before. That says something. Movies are widespread and well bottomed. Using a set of Logitech X-540's and I could not ask for more...at the moment. |

| I installed it, it works great. Be careful of the installation manual because, the PCI 2.0 is not PCIe 2.0, but the older PCI Slot. It should have been taken for granted in the manual since it fit in the slot, and it is intended for the newer machines. All of the drivers and software work great with Windows Vista 64. |

| For anyone who cannot get this card to work on their system must be a noob at building custom PC's. I put this into my existing Home Theater PC and it was up and running in 10 mins (after soft/driver installs). No complaints, this car has unreal sound quality. The 5.25 bay I/O interface is handy aswell. This card sounds AMAZING through a 1000Watt THX Certified 7.1 Home Theater Receiver. This was the final piece to my THX Certified system, my old SB Audigy was not THX, so i opted for this beast. If you are an audiophile then BUY THIS!!!! |

| I have the ''Platinum'' edition and it has been great. Even the software package has proved usefull. With the drive bay unit I have been turning LP's onto disc real clean with the Creative software. Sound quality is equal or better than my hi-end surround system with a Logitech 5.1 speaker system. We do get what we pay for. You will hear the most suttle sounds in games and clear when everything is going at once. |
