| Purchased this card to replace the onboard audio on my Evo d510. It works perfect in a normal windows environment, but ever since its installation, games seem to run slower, almost to the point of being unplayable. |

| the best upgrade sound card creative has made. no problems with driver installation for WinXP and all the software that comes with it really helps you configure the card for optimal performance. |

| I wouldn't buy any other brand as creative makes the best. can't see sound being better but it must be as for the higher priced cards. had the same problems with Vista diver as i did with XP when it first came out but know I have drivers for everything except 64bit wireless drivers. |

| To the person who was converting LP's to wav files. You must of set something wrong or was using a wrong approach to convert LPs. I've made CD quality conversions using the an older generation SoundBlaster 16 card. The card is not to blame for your metalic sounding conversions. There must of been other factors. A card of this quality (96Mhz sampling rate) would easily produce CD quality files. |
