Great motherboard. too bad its not dual channel, but it seems too run a q6700 nicely. the pci express slot is lined up right in the middle of the SATA ports, but i managed to get everything installed and working. this is my second one of these, and id recommend to anyone. A+ go tiger!!

ripping fast motherboard. I am a disalusioned asus fan. This board surprised me.Has an AMI Bios and is easy to work with.Im running a 3.6 duo core and 2g mem-WIN PRO 64. It does not run duel mem. but it will work(corsair). The only thing is what was previously written.''it will extend over and cover all 4 SATA slots!'' (smoke another one guys). If using a video card,I would use a pci-e card insted of built in video. XFX has longevity in thier products. This is great for a second comp board or budget board. Its not a oclocking board, but is good for gaming (cod2,4)I put in apeava blue tower (open case).I built this as a secondary system for my son. You wont be disappointed. XFX actually answered my questions on the phone with live tech speaking english !!!!

I've had this board a little over a month now. Good Mobo, does what it says. make sure you register w/XFX so you can get BIOS update, RealTek audio update, multiple onboard device drivers update, and Nvidia control panel update. Then you can overclock n adjust settings. Audio didn't work until I updated. This board only supports PCIe 1.0, so make sure u don't waste money on a PCIe 2.0 graphics card to upgrade (highest compatible card is a 8600 which isn't much better than onboard overclocked 7150). Only uses single channel DDR2 RAM. Oh, and sys.speaker doesn't work as in previous review, but no big deal. Overall, it's a good board if you want the basics n don't plan on doin Moderate gaming.

I got this board as part of a barebones deal with a Q6700 and 3 gigs of RAM, and I wouldn't say the board is ''great'' like everyone else here is saying.
Don't get me wrong, it's a quality board and it has everything as stated and I've had no problems with it. I was disappointed when I built machine and discovered that this board's BIOS is more restrictive than an OEM mobo.
There are NO overclocking settings at all, in fact, you can't really change any settings other than the very basic. If all you want to do is change your boot up sequence then you're set.

Great motherboard, but MAKE SURE you measure how big your vid card is! If it's a beast like mine (Geforce 9800 GTX+), it will extend over and cover all 4 SATA slots! Other than that it's a good board, as far as I can tell!

PCI
Express - Delivering Dramatically Improved Graphics
Doubling the bandwidth of the AGP 8X graphics bus, the new PCI Express represents
the most profound change to desktop architecture in nearly a decade. PCI
Express replaces AGP, allowing much larger amounts of data to move between
the graphics card and the CPU, and will soon replace PCI expansion slots
as well. The PCI standard allows for a 32-bit bus with a maximum throughput
of 133MB/s. By contrast, PCI Express will run at 2.5GHz. PCI Express is
a two-way serial connection that carries data in packets along two pairs
of point-to-point data lines, compared to the single parallel data bus of
traditional PCI. Gamers will benefit from an incredible upgrade in video
quality with PCI Express, because it will allow for more powerful video
cards, inspiring developers to create more realistic environments that will
make games come alive with astonishingly lifelike colors and images. Video
enthusiasts will also benefit because PCI Express will accommodate higher-quality
video throughput (amount of data you can send per second). As network television
moves over to HDTV broadcasts, PCI Express positions the PC platform for
integration into the living room, while also allowing for HD video editing
and other bandwidth-intensive tasks. PCI Express is compatible with existing
PCI drivers and software operating systems and is designed to co-exist with
current PCI hardware.
