I bought this in a barebones kit for a build that needed to access the internet, check email, burn music CD's and so forth. The motherboard is limited on expansion slots, but for the money, it does all the above mentioned very well. Worth the money for the common user

I just got this board in yesterday. After I got everything hooked up my machine was running really fast. So then I try to play Call of Duty 4 and I couldn't because the onboard video wasn't great and I forgot to get a video card for it. Other than that its great. I'd recommend it only for school and business use though.

I bought this motherboard because I read the other reviews and they were very good. I haven't any problems mounting the motherboard, but when I did turn on the computer the motherboard was totally dead. Maybe I had bad luck and I returned to TG. After that I purchased an ASUS mobo and this time everything was perfect.

Intel Motherboards are usually rock solid.
I got this with the 3 ghz Pentium D chip, to use for development purposes, low cost, high performance, SATA support, was a good buy with the Tiger Direct Bundle, However, Intel has named the chipset on this board ''Express Chipset'', which I took for granted as meaning it would support PCI Express, which it does, but not on this motherboard, the PCI expansion is only 'PCI', also the chip I got, with the bundle, however, is not Virtual PC compatible, nor does it support ''Hyper Threading'' which the motherboard does support both technologies. The on board graphics are not really usable for any serious graphics rendering tasks, like shooters or 3-d stuff, and another problem is that Intel did not add support for anything other than XP and Vista, I cannot use this board to run Windows Server 20003 products, or Windows 2000 products, XP and Vista ONLY. This is a letdown.

I am basically very happy with this motherboard and its ability to do what it is described to do. My very first and only problem with it, is more a problem with the sellers. This board is not an x86 compatible board. No where did I see this until after I was having a problem setting it up. At that time the Manual became an invaluable tool. I looked at the specs, and found that this board is compatable with only XP and Vista. Is it too much to ask the companies selling this board, or Intel, to add these words: Not compatible with all x86 systems? The rep told me I should have researched this prior to purchase. Do any of us read all the manuals prior to purchasing technoligies? Nuf said.
