The Pan/Tilt IP Camera is a full-featured surveillance system that provides high quality video over a wireless network connection. Built-in CPU and Web Server allow the camera to function as a standalone device, allowing users to access the camera anywhere in the world by using a Web browser. Users can also move the camera remotely in almost any direction, scanning sensitive locations for unauthorized intrusion. The IP Camera comes with a CMOS sensor to deliver clear and crisp images, and its powerful IPView software gives users enhanced security options to archive streaming video straight to a computer’s hard drive. IP View software can also monitor multiple cameras on a single screen, enable motion detection to trigger automatic recording, and send email alert notification.

| Right out of the box and up and recording in around ten minutes, if you know anything about networking this camera is a breeze. Instructions right on the money, and support from thier web site is A+++ This is not the camera to buy if you want to see the hair on a fly's back, but for general security it is great. |

| Instructions are incomplete/limited. The Quick Install Guide doesn't mention the password is limited to 8 chars. I use 9 - install hangs and no error messages - took hours to figure out! Read the full manual and online FAQs before you take it out of the box! Got LAN functioning quickly after password fiasco. For WAN remote access it took another 12 hours of trial and error. There is a lot involved setting up a dynamic DNS, configuring your router and the camera if you never did it before. In retrospect it was simple, and some generic instructions by the mfg. could have made it a breeze. I didn't find customer service knowlegable or helpful on the WAN installation - knew more than they did. Doesn't perform under low light conditions and it is very grainy. 3 yr warranty and great value. Cannot size or position application software window making it cumbersome to use in windows! Software works the same in XP and Vista. |

| Excellent network wifi camera, easy to setup and operate. Almost plug-and-play, only a few settings to tweak. I was able to configure in five minutes for my WEP wifi network using the ethernet cable, then disconnect and set the camera anywhere a 110v outlet and my wifi signal were available. The flouresent blue plastic belies the rugged build quality, which is surprisingly durable. I'm using to monitoring my property remotely. Once paired with a wifi router the camera works without a PC. Be sure your router allows for an open port or you will only see the images locally and not via the web. Supports services such as DYNDNS for an easy-to-remember web address you can view from any browser. |
