Saved my career. I was recently diagnosed with a repetitive strain injury (tennis elbow) from over use of the mouse. Spent hundreds of dollars on physio. Did some research on computer injuries and ergonomics, it makes sense to use a touch pad over a mouse. Been using the EasyCat 2 for about a month now and the elbow is in much better shape. Touch pad takes a bit of getting used to for precision pointing, but once adapted, it's pretty quick (IMO, still not as fast nor as accurate as a mouse though.) The pad on my laptop seems a little more precise (feels like about 5%) The EasyCat ''drifts'' slightly when trying to make small adjustments. Physically it's very lightweight, but strong. I've been using the buttons hard and it's shown no sign of wear. Vertical scroll works great in XP - wish I had bought the next model up with the horizontal scroll as well. Will definitely buy another one.

I agree almost completely with the other person who said:
''Bought this mouse because of limited space at my workstation, and I'd gotten...''
But I think he glosses over the one big problem I had with this. It slides across the desk when you don't anchor it down somehow. It is just too light. Overall it's a good product with what I consider a fatal flaw. I'm going to see if I can return it and get a nicer model. Also, a few more buttons would be nice. I really really like that the edges work as scroll bars and that the upper right corner can be configured to work as another button.

Bought this mouse because of limited space at my workstation, and I'd gotten use to touchpad mouse on my laptop. Drivers from cirque let you easily change the top right corner into a third button, and tweak performance and response times any way you want. Scrolling up/down-side/side-zooming in/out can all be controlled with one finger making web browsing a dream. Even clicking/ double clicking can be done by tapping on the surface (I hardly use the buttons anymore). My finger moves a lot faster than my whole hand, and doesn't fatigue after long sessions working or gaming. If you never tried one you don't know what your missing. Suggest velcroing it down though. Pads on the bottom are o.k. but was much happier with it firmly mounted. Great product! Been using it for 6 months now trouble-free, and still going.
