I've had this UPS over five years. Never had a single gaming pc go down yet. I've. been from Indian To Florida I've Run a 400 Mhz now to a 3.0 HT with a 8600GT 2G RAM 5 120MM fans and a 19 inch flant panel. cable box a rounter, 5n1 copier and when power goes out its actually a little more calming when I go to place a .50 cal round through someones frontal lobe in COD4.

This is a decent backup power supply, those who dont know how to regulate their power consumption or know how much their computer pulls, well thats your own fault. just cause it goes off immediately doesnt mean its bad. if your running a mega huge gaming system and you put this lil sucker on it, duh, its not going to work worth crap. i have a cyber power higher level of this model. This isnt too shabby for the price.

DOES NOT WORK! As soon as I get a power flicker, it shuts off connected equipment (my PC and monitor). It does NOT have any UPS Battery Time! It just shuts off! I notice someone else said the exact same thing in their review - battery does not work - equipment shuts off! AVOID THIS BRAND!!! My other 3x APC have been reliable and what I recommend.

I have been using this UPS for about 4.5 years now, and besides the annoying beeping (not recommended for the bedroom) when the power DOES go out, everything works great. Although the unit itself is quite bulky and heavy which makes it inconvenient for a streamlined PC area, it is definitely worth the peace of mind that it delivers. I would recommend this if you are constantly worrying about losing information in the event of a power outage and don;t mind the beeping.
Another con is the ''Power'' button. even if the unit is plugged in, if this button is depressed, you lose all power to whatever is plugged in. Not reecommended for owners of curious animals... Still, well worth it! Can;t beat that price!!!

Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) - What Wattage is Best for You
The most important question you need to ask when you buy a UPS backup is
how much time you have to shut down or back up your data if the power goes
down. Obviously, if you purchase a UPS backup that lacks the muscle to sustain
your load in the event of a power outage, you’ve wasted your money. That’s
why our Editors have created a handy chart that illustrates the average
run time for UPS backups.
