Decent, but not like the TV ad
Well, the TV does make this product look magical, but in reality it's just a nice mixer. I've owned this for about 2 years now and it does get used, but it doesn't have the utility the infomercial indicates. On the negative side, I would not by this...

Pros:
Great for smoothies, mixed drinks, whipping cream, shakes.
Cons:
Does not chop like they show on TV. It's better at mixing than chopping/dicing.
Bottom Line:
I'm neutral. Not what it is hyped to be on TV, but not a bad small portion mixer/blender. NOT A CHOPPER! Probably better units available at a lesser price.

Great for Casual Food
I am not one to buy things from TV advertisements, however, the Magic Bullet caught my eye. I purchased this over a year and a half ago and still use it to this day. It has not replaced my blender or food processor, however, for making small portions...

Pros:
Great for dips and spreads.
Cons:
Doesn't crush ice completely for a drink.
Bottom Line:
I recommend this product if you like to cook and need to make small portions.

Choking Hazard, Beware
So we received the bullet set with the blender set as a gift, and it works well with small portions like salsas, dressings, sauces and etc. The small containers with lids conveniently double for storage as well. That's about the extent of what this...

Pros:
Small size, lids allow storage in blender cup, works well with herbs, sauces, dressings.
Cons:
Flimsy plastic material, no control over speed, weak blending ability.
Bottom Line:
Do not recommend anything other than the small blender for light use.

Don't buy it, it's only good for smoothies.
Don't buy it. Put your money away. I bought this for myself for Christmas. All the commercials finally got to me. I thought what the heck, I'll try it out. This is a piece of junk. There's really no other way to put it. The cups are very small. You...

Pros:
It is small, good for making whipped cream or smoothies.
Cons:
Cheap, cheap, cheap.
Bottom Line:
Save your money. It's very cheap. Good only for smoothies and whipped cream.

Great for making baby food
So, my husband and I were enjoying a lazy afternoon in front of the television when an infomercial came on advertising a remarkable handheld blender unlike any other blender we have seen before! At first we just laughed and laughed at the wonderful...

Pros:
small and easy to clean and use
Cons:
loud and doesn't work exactly the way it claims
Bottom Line:
I think it is great for creamy creations, not for chopping veggies.

Good Unit for it's size
I bought my Magic Bullet at Target about 2 years ago and I love it. I have read reviews, here and elsewhere where people have had the motors burn out, etc. I have not had that happen and the few people I've turned this on to, have not had this...

Pros:
small size
powerful
doubles as storage containers
Cons:
doesn't chop as great as it could.
Bottom Line:
Highly recommended as I've had no issues with mine and I'm happy with my purchase. If you are looking for a mini food processor, then this isn't for you.

Total Junk Do Not Buy It Broke within a Month
We received this as a gift from our daughter. Within a month, it stopped working. A puff of smoke and it was gone! At first, it was great to grind coffee beans, which is what we used it most for. We also used it to make meat salads and to combine foods...

Pros:
When it worked, it was great! Blended and chopped very well. Ease of use.
Cons:
Stopped working within a month. Meats were turned to mush rather than chopped as advertised.
Bottom Line:
Do not buy The Magic Bullet. It works well while using it, but it stops working very quickly. It is not worth the money.

Saved my family $864 last year alone!
I have had my magic bullet over a year now and will never be without it again. We (family of 4) went to *bucks at least 3-5times per week spending on avg. $24 per trip. At just the 3 days per week that comes to $864. We now make all our frappuccino's...

Pros:
PROS: Small size, individul size dishes, saves money,FAST, easy cleanup, multipurpose machine.
Cons:
CONS: Very Loud. When being used, it brings everyone in and wanting something. :)
Bottom Line:
Well worth the money it has saved me. Great for individual dishes and kid friendly versus knives for chopping.

It works great for what I bought it for
I love my Magic Bullet. I use it almost every morning to make some sort of shake or smoothie. Chopping: I do agree that it does NOT chop. I tried putting leftover chicken and some mayo to make chicken salad like on the infomercial. Well even...

Pros:
convenient and easy to clean, makes great smoothies, the size
Cons:
It doesn't chop
Bottom Line:
I've had this about a year and a half and use it almost everyday. If you want it for drinks (smoothies/shakes) than I definitely recommend! Don't buy for chopping.

Good for limited use
I have had the unit for about 5 months. I wanted something relatively cheap that I could use at our cabin during the summer. I had a low end blender, but that wasn't very good at blending frozen berries in smoothies. After watching the infomercial I...

Pros:
Easy to use blending soft fluid items
Cons:
Difficult to blend hard or frozen items and will probably break the unit
Bottom Line:
I think you could get a better, more durable blender for a little more money. It is useful in limited situations.
