It works very well and the automatic feature is accurate yet also adjustable.
Cons:
Fan is loud. But then it's the basement and we don't care.
Bottom Line:
I suggest buying this unit we went for the more expensive model and are glad we did. The size is right as it can require emptying 4 times a day.

little noisy but not irritating, can fill up fast in the summer

Overall Id rate it an 8 out of 10 and if you can find it as cheap as I did, its definitely worth considering.
