I was so excited to finally get my own pro straightener. Came in three days.As soon as I got home, I opened the Sedu box and straightened my hair (I was shocked of how small it was). My hair was AMAZING! It felt so smooth, silky, and light (Everything I wanted it to be) and it took me 20-30 minutes. I was so happy to go out with such straight hair( I have a thick/coarse wavy hair). It lasted a long time throughout the day. When I got home, I showered and went to bed. Woke up early in the morning and began to straighten my hair again. When I had a little portion of my hair left to straighten, the straightener died out. I didn't even slam it, drop it, or anything. It just...died. It wouldn't turn back on, so I had to use my junk straightener to finish it the rest. After I came back home, I tried to turn it on again...still dead. It's a good straightener, but if it lasted longer like it's supposed to, then it would be the best. I still want this straightener, but they have to do something about the functioning of this product.

I ordered my iron on Monday and it was delivered on Thursday with free shipping! Opened box, quickly read instructions and used--best iron ever-with just a few passes my full and difficult to flatten hair was beautifully,silky straight!!!! Can't believe I waited so long to spend the little extra for such a great product. YEAH!!!!!!

I've been using the sedu flat iron for more than 2 years, the only problem I had was with the cord, the first time I did't take advantage of the warrenty, duh, the second one I ordered also gave me trouble with the cord so I called Folica and they were very helpful regarding sending it back for a replacement, I received my new sedu in no time at all and I also was pleased that they changed the cord, it is stronger and I don't think I'll have any more problems. The sedu is the best one on the market as I have curly hair, it makes my hair so smooth, no one would ever know how really curly my hair is, thanks for a great product.

I bought this flat iron after my solia died after a few years. I was going to buy another solia flat iron but I wasn't sure of the new floating plates because I didn't want my hair to get caught in them. So, I splurged and bought the sedu and I am very satisfied. It does a wonderful job of straightening my hair and does a good job of curling it as well. The only complaint would be is that the outside of the plates get extremely hot as well and makes it hard to handle when I try to curl my hair with my flat iron. The only other thing also is the plug isn't one of those reset and test button plugs. It is just a normal outlet plug if that makes any sense. Really just some nit picky things but overall this is a great straightener.

I've had this straightener for about four years now and it still works beautifully. Trust me, it won't burn out or break if you drop it. I've brought it back and forth every week to and from school and it's still working perfectly. I love it so much. I don't have curly hair to straighten, but I own a straightener anyways because I decided I could use one to tame the ends of my hair. I LOVE THE SEDU. I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE. It's way better than the CHI! I work in a hair salon selling hair appliances and products. CHI's are the most returned/exchanged item we have because they burn out fast and break easily. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE MY SEDU LASTED 4 YEARS AND IS STILL WORKING SUPERBLY! I'm very very happy with this product.
